The Williams Family Adventure
Blake grew up roaming and hunting the Rocky Mountains with his trusty Chocolate Lab, Tuck. The two of them spent countless hours together, instilling the love of dogs into Blake.
Kelsea grew up on a cattle and grain farm, caring for their family farm dogs which consisted of Collies, Pyrenees and Lab crosses. The deep connection she had with the dogs drove her to a successful career as a Veterinary Technician.
After getting married, we had the longing of getting a puppy. Because of the profession we are in which consists of living in the mountains for 3 months of the year, riding horses and flying in bush planes, it was soon decided that a enthusiastic, medium sized dog would be the perfect match for us.
Because of Kelsea's job as a vet tech, she worked with a lot of different dog breeds and the Mountain Dogs became her favorite. But the ones she knew were too big to fit in bush planes. So she went to research mode and found this amazing breed!
It took a while of waiting and searching, but our first Entlebucher, Tikka (pictured below) was found. We fell in love with her and this incredible breed, and decided we wanted to share more of this breed with more people. The search began again and along came our male, Tucker.
Unfortunately, Tikka passed away, and our hearts were broke and us, as well as Tucker went into a season of mourning. We realized our family wasn't complete without a second Entlebucher, so we imported our second female, Sage, from Slovakia.
Now, our family of 6 (+ a bunch of horses!) is now complete again, let the adventures resume!
Both Tucker and Sage come along on every adventure and outing we go on, from working with and riding our horses, to hiking in the mountains, fishing, playing in the backyard, to going to gramma's house!
They are not raised in a kennel environment, they are home raised and live life with us as part of our family members.
