Meet the
Williams Family

We’re a small family breeder of healthy, affectionate Entlebucher Mountain Dogs based in beautiful Northern British Columbia. Our mission is to breed high quality Entlebuchers with an emphasis on health and temperament, combined with early socialization and development from day one. We are an adventurous family who live and work on our horse ranch, as well as live in the Coastal Mountains for 3 months of our year. And yes, our dogs come with us wherever we go!
We are members of and our dogs are registered with the CKC (Canadian Kennel Club)
Health testing of our breeding dogs is in progress

Entlebuchers make amazing family dogs, as they are very devoted to, and love to be with their people. They are loving, good natured, affectionate and form strong bonds with their family as well as other dogs. They will stick by their families side. Their alert, protective nature makes them excellent watchdogs. They are the perfect combination of an independent spirit, but adore spending time and being with their family. They are awesome kids dogs, but socialization needs to be started at a young age.
Intelligent
Versatile
Entlebuchers have an incredible intelligent mind which make them a very obedient companion. They love to learn and are easy to train, with training needing to be starting at a young age to keep their active minds and bodies functioning well.
One of the best qualities of the Entlebucher is that they are up for, and can excel in any adventure their families take part in!
Entlebuchers have a strong work ethic, and they thrive with active families. They have been bred to herd cattle, pack and pull carts. And although they require some daily activity (we suggest 30mins-an hour), they are unlike other herding breeds that need to be doing a job all day. They are well muscled and agile, and due to their medium haired coat, they do well in Northern parts of the world. They thrive both in the home and outdoor environment; from the farm, mountains and lakes, to the parks and town sidewalks.
Perfect size
Another great quality of this breed is their size and life expectancy. They are the smallest of the Swiss Mountain Dogs. They are a medium size. The males range from 50-65lbs, 17-21 inches, and females 40-55lbs, 16-20 inches. They are extremely sturdy. Their life expectancy is 11-13 years This combination of size and life expectancy make it easy to pack them up and take along with you to any adventure, and you will have a companion for years to come!
